Projektbeschreibung
The volume is placed without changing the topography or the character of the land, on a steep south-facing slope with a view of the Rhône valley. It is organised over three levels and aims to link up with the road and the view.
The house is covered with a two-colour pebbledash, a mixture of two different greens, which resembles the colours of the surrounding vines; this expedient increases the depth of the facade.
From the road it is possible to access to the first floor that includes all the living spaces: lounge, dining area and terrace, carved into the building, with a privileged relationship with the distant landscape. The more private areas are located on the lower floor: this level is designed as a large open modular area. The sanitary facilities and the storage are concentrated in the centre, vacating the perimeter.
The house's structure is made entirely of concrete, used for all surfaces: floors, walls and ceilings.
