Team TPO Reserve – Maxwan, including Juurlink en Geluk, ARUP and Pegasus are one of three finalists to develop the International Financial Centre (IFC) in Moscow!
In the next and final stage, the client will hold commercial negotiations with the finalists in order to discuss their further participation in the implementation of the project.
Other contestants where teams around: XDGA, KCAP, SOM, Gensler, MAD, ASTOC/HPP and Panerai. Besides TPO Reserve-Maxwan, KCAP and ASTOC made it to the final round. 83 teams from 22 countries participated in the first round.
The 460 -acre project includes a city with 100,000 jobs and 34,000 inhabitants. The city is planned on the western outskirts of Moscow. The client is Sberbank, Russia's largest bank. Moscow is currently playing a marginal role in the financial world. The city occupies position 73 in the world rankings. The Russian government plans to bring Moscow into the top league of international financial centres.
The city will provide ideal conditions for attracting international companies and institutions in the financial sector. It will compete with financial centres such as the City of London and Downtown Manhattan.
