MARELD was part of the winning team in the parallel assignment for Åseberget in Kungälv, Sweden. The design proposal of MARELD and Erséus Architects consisted of a structural plan with the focus on landscape adaption and landscape analysis.
The area of Åseberget is intended to accommodate approximately 2000 residential units, a pre-school, a home for elderly as well as businesses. The design process was especially challenged by the topographical preconditions such as sharp differences in height.
The client is a consortium consisting of Bokab, Förbo AB, HSB, Peab, Tornstaden, Wästbygg Gruppen, Derome and Kungälv municipality.
